My Amazon Purchases- Aprill & May

I thought I'd share what I have purchased from Amazon during the months of April & May....and maybe give a review on each item.....these first two items I've purchased for Mr. Seventies to add to his Father's Day gift bag.....he needs a rain jacket & I'm hopeful this one will work....nothing to bulky....

And of course, socks are always a necessity & these Puma ones are durable & comfortable....

Clancy will be needing this surgery suit when she undergoes her spay in August....I just know a cone of any type will not work with her....because she will still be a puppy her incision site will need to be protected from licking & chewing.  I may need an additional suit....we'll play it by ear, I'll order a second suit if needed....

I've ordered this harness twice....one pink & the other orange....each come with a matching leash....they are perfect harnesses.....easy velcro closing with an additional safety clasp.....so easy to put on as well...

I give this produce a 10/10......we've had to use it a couple of times....it works amazing....and smells awesome...

I am surprised how much I love these sheets.....not only are they inexpensive....but they are wonderful to sleep on....and wash & dry with ease....and also come with two sets of pillowcases....

This is the quilt set I ordered for the smallest bedroom bed...and I love it....it's prettier in person than the photos show.......it looks awesome on the twin size bed....

This set I returned....the quality just wasn't there.....it was very thin & I've opted to bring out my jersey set from Anthrolopologie....I'll share at a later time..  I did want to love this set....the photos giving off a Pottery Barn vibe....but it just wasn't great quality.....

We may set up the wicker patio furniture tomorrow.....and yes it rained again overnight.....I'm hoping these coverings will work....the set comes with a coffee table cover which I don't need  & I'm hopeful the two chair & love seat covers will be suitable....

I can't seem to find crockpot liners anywhere here....and I've tried....these ones from Amazon work great....and such an easy cleanup!  I highly recommend them & use them each time with our crockpot...

And this adorable outfit for Miss Giddy Goose....(most of the outfits are Inspired Living sold out quickly)... Amazon has a great selection for our porch goose....I've already save fall outfits in my Amazon wish list....she's going to look "spooktacular" come fall....

These next items I purchased for myself....my previous rechargeable toothbrush had seen better days.....I will never go back to a manual toothbrush....this one from Oral B makes my teeth feel like I've just had a dental cleaning.....two thumbs up on this purchase....

It took me a couple of tries to find a power flosser that I truly liked & this one does a great job....and a solid #1 with me.  If you have bridges & crowns, braces or implants....this is the flosser for you.....

My hair stylist used this product on my curls & it is awesome....leaves curls soft with great hold...and no crunchy, stiff hair....I found it $5 cheaper on Amazon than in the salon....I cannot recommend it enough...

My makeup application brush had seen many better days....I like this one...it works really well to blend in foundation....

This outfit is all over social media....the capris are available on Amazon....I found they run big.... I need to return mine for a smaller size.....once the second pair arrive.....

I also have the long shirt (not an Amazon purchase)....it is amazing with the softest fabric.....and the fit is perfect....

I'm not a fan of the wide red belt....this one is much more to my liking....and looks great with the outfit...also the shoes are a no for me....I'd break an ankle if I attempted to wear them....

Other than a few chew toys for Clancy Mae....I think that rounds up my purchases for April & May .....I hope you found a couple of things you might like.....

A Brand New Month

 

Here's hoping we finally get warmer weather & we can finish staining the pool deck!  This is the first time in seventeen years we have not opened the pool! in May  Usually it's up & running by now .....

Even though it's been cool, in between rain showers we've been able to take Clancy Mae & go for walks on the trails!  This particular trail is not far from our house.....

It was cool....but perfect for walking & being out in the fresh air!  This part of the trail has two bridges with streams running underneath.....we even saw a bunny hopping across the trail on this particular outing....Clancy got her first look at one.....she was pretty interested.....

Four years after the devastation of Hurricane Fiona....there is still evidence of the huge damage to Island trees....still so much dead wood lying about....great fun for forest fires.....the province has done a poor job of removing destroyed trees.....

Overturned trees....shortly after Fiona we attempted to walk this trail....but there were too many trees down blocking the trail....we had to turn back....

Since the Snowmobile Association maintains the trails,  (snowmobilers use the trails during the winter months).....they do a fantastic job keeping the trails clear....so many people use them for walking hiking, and biking.  The trails run from one tip of the Island to the other....many people bike & walk the whole trail in the summer and fall months...

Some little redhead enjoyed her walk & was wiped out for a couple of hours afterwards....perfect opportunity to burn off some of that puppy energy!  A tired pup....is a quiet pup.....

So, I came across this adorable vintage set on Etsy....and couldn't resist owning it!  Fingers crossed it will ship within the next few days.....my cow obsession might be showing....

Another Etsy seller caught my attention....when I saw this awesome sweatshirt in her shop....and immediately hit add to cart....I'm so crushing on this sand colour.....and with Canada Day coming up on July 1st....it will be perfect for that evening barbecue....

I can pair the sweatshirt with these capris I've been seeing everywhere....they look so comfy...great to pul on & go....I love how baggy they are....and the tulip hem....

This hoodie was an immediate "must have" for me....it just looks so warm & cozy-perfect for evenings outside enjoying the fire pit...I think my love of barnyard animals is showing.....

Thia adorable piece was on sale....how could I say no to an adorable Christmas sweatshirt.....especially with a loooong little doggie on it!!

You will be as surprised as we are....the sun is out today......it promises to be a mix of sun & cloud with the potential for temperatures to reach double digits!  Still a bit of a breeze from the north....which keeps the air feeling cooler.....but the next few days are looking promising.....

Mr. Seventies is anxious to finish staining the pool deck....and we may be able to set the wicker patio furniture out & enjoy sitting outside.....dare we hope....
