What a wonderful time we had as our oldest daughter & her long time beau were married on the weekend! High winds almost threatened our travel plans (when winds reach a certain speed...the Confederation Bridge, which connects us to the mainland)..... can close to all vehicle traffic! While it closed to high sided vehicles (buses, transport trucks, trailers).....it remained open for regular vehicles to cross....much to our relief!
The wedding had a "western theme".....they were adorable & we couldn't be prouder of their journey!
Sarah....our beautiful bride....on her happiest of days....
Saying their vows....they are such a great pair....we couldn't be happier for them....
As the afternoon wound down....and the sun was just about to set....they headed outside for some photos....
Congratulations Sarah & Steve - many happy wishes for a long & loving life together!! Dad & I are very proud!
And if our weekend wasn't wonderful enough.....look what landed in my in box!! Puppy pics!!! Are your ready for some absolute adorable wiener pups?? One week old...two little reds....and one piebald boy!!
Heart be still!! We'd be thrilled to have anyone one of them!!!
Thank you for visiting with me today....my heart is full of love! Even the snow-rain mix & winds outside cannot dampen my mood these days!!
Please join me later today as I'll be sharing over at https://betweennapsontheporch.net/ for Metamorphosis Monday and again tomorrow at https://www.myslicesoflife.com/ for Talking About It Tuesday!!!
Til next time....

The puppies are adorable. It would be hard to choose. So glad you guys were able to make it across the bridge to your daughter’s wedding. They look so happy together. Can’t wait to hear about your thrifting adventures. Hugs, Elaine
ReplyDeleteIf the piebald goes to a show home.....we hope our second choice is the red female! It will be one or the other...:)
DeleteCharlotte, such exciting times for you! Congrats on your daughter and son-in-law's wedding - looks like a ton of fun. I'm so glad the weather cooperated and the bridge didn't close down on you. The pups are absolutely adorable and may your closet be filled to the brim with puppy paraphernalia lol. I can't wait to see which pup comes home with you. The tote is so cute too. Happy Monday and take care over there, my friend!
