Firstly.....Mr. Seventies sees a surgeon next week ....... hopefully surgery won't be far behind! He is doing okay.,.... sore & not one to enjoy being on the down low. The compression belt helps... he couldn't get around without one....
We got a dusting of snow.....it melted before son-in-law was required to clear it away.....
And look what is coming to our town!! F-i-n-a-l-l-y!! Opening Spring 2026 - which is soon!! I especially love this store in the fall & Christmas time.....they come out with some pretty cool items!
I swung by Winner's the other day....lots of pretty spring & summer pretties in the store!! I'm obsessed with this Betsey Johnson handbag!! I'm contemplating getting it ......the only drawback & you cannot see it in the photo.....is the strap is attached to the bag with chains. Ugh. Now I'm thinking I could use it without the shoulder strap.....and therein lies my hesitation.....I'm not a fan of chains......
This little dog bowl was marked down to $5.....immediately added to cart!
They didn't. Now....in past years that would have sent me into such a depression & on yet again.....another diet to lose weight! I'm going to exchange them for an XL and move on!
I've learned the issue is with clothes sizing ......not me. It took a while to get that. This pretty, spring sweater is so soft....I could not resist getting it.....in a size Medium! (it's also available in blue).....the length of the sleeves is perfect....not quite to the elbow on me .........softest fabric ever .......
I took a few minutes to browse the home decor aisles....while I love looking at the candles....I find they burn "dirty" ....... giving off a petroleum smell. Is it just me or does anyone else find that? Unless the candles are soy I no longer purchase them. The tart melts I purchase aren't like that in my experience....

This vase was quite large .........and gorgeous! Just wow. It was priced at $29.99.....I didn't love it that much to spend that though..... would you?
A couple of great kettles .......the black & white one is giving off MacKenzie Child's vibes. I previously owned a MacKenzie Child's black & white checked kettle .......at that time they didn't have a whistle. See where this is going?
Mr. Seventies let it boil dry ......to the point the kettle was ruined. He felt terrible & offered to replace it....but I'm happy with our electric cordless kettle....(and it shuts off when boiled)......
This piece is adorable.....not a fan of the crown.....but the pretty embroidery.....and those pearls.....
Easter decor is exploding in the stores ....... with bunnies & chicks everywhere.....
We've had a couple of chilly overnight temperatures...... cold windchills still happening. Monday was brutal.....grand daughter had an outing with kindergarten cancelled (and rightfully so).....it has been rescheduled for today.....sleigh rides, sledding & hot chocolate & cookies! To be a kid again ........

Good news hubby has an appt with the surgeon next week. Hope he gets a surgery date very soon. Loved going shopping with you, as usual. Cute sweater and even cuter doggie bowl. Yes, go for the purse.
