We can't seem to get more than a couple of warm, sunny days....before we are back into wet weather! With the rainy days though....the grass is turning from brown to green! So there is that. And a few flowers are popping up in the gardens.....first small bouquet of the year!
While we had a couple of nice days.....I tackled the smallest bedroom & gave it a much needed cleaning & refresh! Perfect weather to open the windows, remove the shutters for a spring clean....add a pretty little quilt set to the bed.
The floor got a good cleaning with Murphy's Oil soap added to the water - it smells so fresh & leaves the floor looking great. I think a small rug by the bed might be a nice addition...I do have one I could use....I might try it on the floor, but if I see one when I'm out & about .....
Next, I'll be switching my attention to the main bedroom...I'll spend a day giving it a good cleaning....I'm looking for a set of pretty sheets to go along with this set I've ordered. It is on back order....so it may be a little time before it arrives....but I'll have the room ready to go when it does....
I went in search of Pottery Barn dupes....(they are out there)......this set gives off PB vibes for certain....it's so gorgeous!! Cannot wait for it to arrive...
Switching gears....if you are on Facebook I'm sure you've seen ads for just about anything....and usually I pay no mind to them.....but when I saw these denim wide leg capris.....and after reading dozens of reviews from various sites selling them...I decided to order a pair!
They arrived without any issues (tracking number was provided as well) ...... I'm obsessed with them! My only regret.....I should have ordered a size smaller. I tossed them in the washing machine in extra hot water.....then a hot dryer & that seemed to help.....and I also have a thin red belt I plan to wear with them. They are super comfortable....
As I mentioned, I usually pay no mind to ads on Facebook or any of the social media sites....but I decided to give these a go....I'm glad I did!!
Mr. Seventies continues to heal....he puttered for a coupe of hours in the flower gardens....that is a healing process for him. He sees the surgeon early next week for a re-check....and hopefully be given the all clear to do a bit more.....he'll be at the six week post op by then....
Clancy Mae continues to thrive....she is a celebrity in the neighbourhood! So many people stop us to see her....take photos of her....and kids are in love with her! We are more than happy to introduce her to as many people as possible.....we want her well socialized....
It's hard to imagine what life was like before her arrival! Having a puppy is a lot of work...scheduled feedings, potty breaks....and lots of walks! She is taken out once or twice during the night.....
How could we not adore this face??
