Ok...the calendar says it's officially spring,,,,but we're not having spring weather! It snowed on Saturday...all day! Snowed & snowed! Not a storm....just snow.....and I'm still full of cold!!!
Yesterday was sunny & we celebrated by birthday at our daughter's house.... our daughter from Nova Scotia joined us! We had pizza & garlic fingers.....followed by a delicious cake.....and our youngest grand daughter & her Dad made delicious cupcakes....and decorated them!
I received lovely gifts...lavender bath salts, cozy slippers, a spring night shirt.... two Amazon gift cards & birthday cards
The adorable pet stairs arrived....and they are perfect! Hoping to be able to train the new pup to use them...
This adorable blanket from Temu makes a great addition to our pet supplies....I'm hoping to touch base with the breeder this week. I know the breeder has two dogs expecting litters this month....that may be keeping her busy....
Not a lot of news from here.....Mr. Seventies pre-surgery clinic is Thursday......looking forward to having his surgery done.....(as much as anyone looks forward to surgery...). He is not a man to sit around & unfortunately that is all he can do now & six weeks post surgery......
The crocus are up in the gardens.....so there is that - pretty little pops of colour! Whatever snow we get.....usually melts the same day!
Be sure & join me later today over at https://betweennapsontheporch.net/ for Metamorphosis Monday and again tomorrow with Joanne at https://www.myslicesoflife.com/ for Talking About It Tuesday.....
It's been a minute since I've been out & about in the stores.....I know there is lots of pretty spring decor out!! I'm excited for Bath & Body works to open!
Thanks so much for stopping by today.....I so appreciate you spending your time with me!!
Til next time....

Glad spring is on the way and hope you have puppy news soon. Praying your husband’s surgery goes well and he recovers quickly. RHill, TX

DeleteHope you feel better soon, Charlotte. Also praying that your hubby’s surgery goes well. You must be anxious waiting for puppy news. You’re all ready for the new arrival. Hope your snow is melting. Hugs, Elaine
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine!! Still working out the details on getting puppy to PEI - ugh. Anyhow...thanks for the good wishes! (hugs)
DeleteHappy belated birthday Charlotte and how great that you got to spend it with family! The doxie blanket is so cute and I hope you hear from the breeder soon. We woke up to about two inches of snow on Saturday as well, but it's the time of year when it melts pretty quickly - at least if the sun is out. It was pretty much gone by the afternoon. Have an awesome week, muy friend!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the birthday wishes, Kim! I had sworn I was done having them....lol!! At least any snow we get now...won't be around long! Have a great week, my friend!
