You know that saying, "what's old is new again"? The latest craze here....at least for customers of Inspired Living.....is Giddy Goose.... who is so popular she is on back order! I've been around long enough to remember Giddy (not sure if the name was around back then).....the goose who has a whole wardrobe available....for the various seasons & holidays!
To refresh your memory.....or introduce you to....the porch goose Giddy! (I ordered from Wayfair...to avoid the waiting list). Giddy, stands about 23" tall.....
There are various outfits available...there is a raincoat & umbrella set on my list to get for Giddy.....
I perused one of the thrift stores briefly.....a few pieces caught my eye.....I hesitated to buy this piece for my cabinet....I suspected it wouldn't fit it in....but it was tempting....
This Corning casserole dish was huge & quite heavy.....I thought a great find for anyone needing one for large meals....
This piece had me intrigued....it was extremely dirty & dusty..... I suspect the produce of someone's ceramic class. While it could have been washed....I left it for someone else to enjoy....would you have taken him?
These cute little bowls caught my eye.....great for desserts....or perfect snack size bowls ......
A small pottery bowl....great for storing pot scrubbers.....I keep mine in a pottery bowl under the kitchen sink....it's big enough to house a small scrub brush as well....
Clancy continues to thrive.....we can see how much she has grown since arriving almost three weeks ago. She is still the talk of the neighbourhood....the best socialization class for her....is meeting so many people & children who stop to pet her, take her photo....and everyone comments on how adorable she is!
We have two more puppy socialization classes to attend.....and potty training is going very well....and getting through the difficult puppy teething/mouthing stage! I've needed to order a few additional chew toys to keep her mouth busy on things besides our hands & fingers....

Happy that Clancy’s lessons are going well. She’ll be graduating soon. Loved those yellow polka dot dishes. Always fun to go shopping with you. Hope your hubby’s followup appt shows he’s doing well. Hugs, Elaine
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine! Clancy is doing really well....only two classes left!! Have an awesome day!! ((hugs))
DeleteOh my gosh - I love love Giddy the Goose! How fun that you can change her outfits for the season - the ghost one is so funny. Those sandals are soo cute. So glad that you had a wonderful Mother's Day and that Clancy is doing so well. Have a great week, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHey, Kim!! I'm a bit obsessed with Giddy....not going to lie!! I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day, as we! Take care, my friend!
DeleteI'm pretty sure I'd enjoy a good ceramics class too but while we do have one sort of near us it's really not all that close and the selection is often really slim.
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad, Joanne. I wish ceramics would make a comeback....maybe someday it will!
DeleteOh I love your Giddy Goose. She's adorable! What finds you found at the thrift store.
ReplyDeleteVisiting today from Talking About It Tuesday.
Hi Paula!! Cannot wait for my Giddy Goose to arrive! Her outfit arrived already....so cute!! Have an awesome weekend!!
