And arrived a day early!! It is everything I expected...and more!!
We couldn't understand why this ceiling was stuccoed in the first place.....but scraping off the texture revealed they hadn't bothered to use drywall tape where the walls & ceiling meet (when the house was built)....causing a noticeable gap in some areas....nothing surprises us any more though.....
It's the only room where drywall tape wasn't used....the seam filler will definitely address that issue....
Mr. Seventies is about three quarters of the way done....it might be a while before the seam filler can fit in the job....he is extremely busy.....and off the last few days battling the flu...
In the meantime....I'll make my usual dozen visits to the hardware store in search of paint! Once the seam fill work is completed....the ceiling will need to be primed & painted.....then the walls....
It has been snowy here the past few days...it adds up, but I don't think any major storms are in the forecast...but that can change....
January is such a long, unpredictable month....a great time of year to stay cozied up by the pellet wood stove....
Until next time...
Your new mixer is beautiful! I hope your husband is feeling better soon. The room is really coming along nicely.
ReplyDeleteHubby is feeling fine..no worries.....our seam filler (Mike) is the poor guy with the flu...lol! It may be a little while before he's able to get to our ceiling! I'm obsessed with the new mixer for sure!!!
