Come browse with me a the Barnyard Blow Out sale at Cows! For those unfamiliar with Cows...they began making ice cream here in 1983! Hand made at that! Before too long they branched out & sell a full line of clothing, giftware, towels, blankets....all while using everything "moo worthy" as slogans!
Not to mention delicious ice cream with some pretty adorable flavours....Cownadian Maple, Cowconut Cream Pie, Fluff N Udder, Mooey Gooey, Moo Crunch, Moo York Cheesecake...the list is endless...
They currently are holding a "Barnyard Sale".....and since the shop is close to our house....we checked it out....and picked up a couple of cute t-shirts for grand daughter....a Bluey & Paw Patrol lover.....everything sold in store is made with tongue in cheek....and cow related! I picked up a couple of t-shirts for her birthday & Easter prezzies. Most everything in the shop was 50% off...

This hoodie is my fav...represents PEI with the Confederation Bridge, lighthouse & cow....we have a thriving dairy industry....
I was disappointed they didn't have any women's night shirts.....I've had a couple in the past & loved them! They are longer...about mid-calf on me....but none in store or on their website. I hope they replenish their supply soon....they did however have boxers and sleep shorts....
How doesn't need a pair of cow slippers? Or fuzzy socks?
Adorable mugs!! I'm obsessed with the row of ice cream mugs....and when I was still working....some of us ( I worked in the office of a milk/dairy testing laboratory).....we had cow mugs!! Well...just about cow everything....
A couple of cute plushies....how adorable is this guy? Or how about an ice cream cone to snuggle...
And a few awesome re-useable shopping bags! Plastic grocery bags were banned from use here a few years ago...most of us have an abundance of re-usable bags stashed in the trunk of our vehicles! I have the smaller, PEI potato bag.....we are known for our delicious PEI potatoes!
Oh & a delicious line up of goodies....have you ever had chocolate covered ripple potato chips? No? They are soooo good! We have made them at home in previous years.....melting milk chocolate chips and pouring it over salty, rippled potato chips! A wonderful blend for a sweet & salty snack...
I'm told the block cheese is delicious! Mr. Seventies loves cheese....especially Cow's cheese!
The food items are made on-site....in the plant built along side the retail store....and they do tours so folks can see the process of ice cream, cheeses & butter being made....the six pack of bottles is called Raspberry Cordial......and it's tied into everything Anne of Green Gables...
Grand daughter loves going to cows for an ice cream....as do her grandparents! Great treat anytime...
Daughter & hubby hosted a lovely birthday barbecue......complete with delicious cupcakes....to celebrate my recent birthday! I was gifted Amazon & Maurices clothing gift cards...(always a favourite)....and I'd been wanting this book since I first saw it! Grand daughter & I had fun looking through it & identifying the varieties of tulips we currently have in our flower gardens...there is also a Hydrangeas book I've got my eye on....
Daughter in Nova Scotia gifted me this sweet necklace...it holds my birthstone, as well as hers & her sister's....along with our initials....I will cherish this piece forever...
And a little birthday gift to me! This adorable iPhone case....they are much cheaper on Temu...I have about 6 or 7 of them already.....so inexpensive you can't have just one......or two....
We had a weather statement issued for snow tomorrow.....but this morning that warning has been removed! Fine by me....didn't want a mess of snow & rain anyway.....

Charlotte, what an adorable "moo" shop that must be to visit - everything looks so cute. The necklace your daughter gifted you is beautiful and how fun the tulip book is. We have lots of tulips in the grocery stores but I haven't seen any from the ground yet. And the hydrangea book looks wonderful too. I'm glad you enjoyed you party and I'm wishing you a very happy belated Birthday my friend!!
