March is slipping by....we've been enjoying incredible spring weather & the crocus are up! Can this really be spring? Tomorrow there is a "special weather statement" - warning of freezing rain! Mother Nature is toying with us...
I officially have a cold...it was bound to happen as Mr. Seventies spent the better part of last week down & out with it...and he has shared it with me! Bless his heart...
My knee surgery is about a month away....my sweet neighbour has undergone two replacements & we spent an afternoon chatting about what I should expect, tests I'll have done & she insisted I borrow her walker as she no longer requires it....apparently I will need one. I have an appointment with my physiotherapist this week...to get a head start on my routine for afterwards...
One piece of advise shared-the necessity for wide leg, loose bottoms (other than sleep pants...my go to comfort pieces)...I picked up a couple of pairs at Maurices....these are so soft & comfortable....one pair in black...and a second set in a soft mint green....
While there...(if you remember the popcorn cardigan I got a week or so ago) ...is also available in blue/gray tones....and since I had coupons....I decided to purchase it as well...
I was in need of a couple of sweatshirts....this pretty teal one was the last one...and it was in my size...
This one is more brown than what it appears...I can pair it with the black sweatpants...
I happened to be browsing on Simons website...and just had to have these adorable flats...
And I've been obsessing over these short overalls....so I ordered a pair....perfect for hanging out on the deck this summer....
I'm a little hesitant to share this next piece.....the site was a bit sketchy (you've seen them on FB)... I decided to order it anyway....(I'm usually diligent on what sites I order from)....I'm not expecting to receive this....or if the quality will be what is promised...I'll keep you posted...
Later in the week I'll share my recent visit to Inspired Living....where spring & Easter have exploded!
Thanks so much for spending a bit of your time with me....I hope it is "spring" wherever you are today!
I'll leave with with an Irish blessing...
"May joy & peace surround you, contentment latch your door & happiness be with you now & bless you evermore!"
Til next time....
Hi Charlotte! It looks like you are gearing up for spring and summer with all your pretty new clothes. I don't envy you the knee surgery but it is was it is I guess. I'm glad you got the scoop from your neighbour on what to expect and how nice of her to offer you her walker. I'll be curious about the new sweater when it comes... Love the Irish blessing and wishing it right back at you. Take care over there my friend!
