Like there was any doubt.... the off white hand bag somehow managed to make its way into my shopping cart...while I loved it in black as well ...this will be my go to bag this summer...
This pretty cardigan caught my eye.... cannot wait for summer to enjoy visits to our favourite dairy bar...
We were feeling a bit on the lazy side..... decided to order a pizza & picked up on the way home from an afternoon of "browsing" in the stores....
I came across an awesome website that carries the most adorable tote bags....and while there is one with dachshunds ....... I couldn't resist ordering this one, which is available in two sizes (I ordered the largest size). Mr. Seventies did inquire if I was going somewhere...lol. Silly man....
I don't often shop at Old Navy....but when browsing their website I came across this two piece set....(sold separately), they weren't available in store here so I ordered both pieces. While I love the green....I'll have to determine when they arrive if I truly love the colour....
Maurices (clothing store) is having a "Galentines Day Party" tomorrow evening with in store specials from 4-7 p.m. I hope to visit.... although I don't need much in the way of summer wear. Fall is my favourite time to pick up a few things there....but I hate to pass up on a sale!!
*Update on the seizure of 43 dogs* - firstly the dogs were from a CKC registered breeder! (who has since been removed from their list) ..... most dogs are small breed..... including dachshunds. My heart is crushed.... so thankful this a**hole was reported to animal protection & the dogs were removed! They are currently in foster care....having their every need met. We donated to their fund for vet care....the community here has rallied with people & businesses donating much needed food, beds, harnesses, leashes....everything these dogs will need when they start their new life.
The only way situations such as this come to life is when a caring person reports it to the animal shelter....otherwise they would never have known.....that is exactly what happened in this case....
Today the forecast is calling for snow flurries....no major weather events on the horizon. We hope to visit the mainland for a day next week..... weather permitting.. Monday is a provincial holiday .... "Islander Day, we will be caring for grand daughter for an evening this week while her parents attend a family wake.... (son-in-law's aunt passed away).....
Have an awesome day.... and thanks for stopping by!
Til next time....
