Spring Has Finally Sprung!

We've been having beautiful, spring days....full of sun & it's wonderful!  Not before time!

The crocus are up.....a nice little burst of colour this time of year....the Forsythia shrub will be next to flower!

I picked up a couple of pool toys for grand daughter to have fun with....if you don't grab them now....they will be gone before pool time!  These are big enough for the "adult" kids to use also!

My Crocs arrived!!  I am obsessed with them.....are they not adorable?  And how about that bow?  These will be perfect for slipping on to take a pup for potty breaks!

And.....speaking of the pup.....(see how I did that?)......she & I are signed up for puppy socialization classes!  When she arrives, she will be the perfect age to start....first class is Saturday, April 28 (as was recommended the trainer).....classes are forty-five minutes in duration....great for both she & I!  We are attending Spot on Dogs training facility....we are signed up for five classes!

And I dropped into the veterinary clinic (just down the road from us).....and had a wonderful chat with the receptionist, Stephanie.  I gained a wealth of information.....as I've mentioned this is the first pup we have gotten so young.  Clancy will be due for her second immunization & kennel cough vaccine.....and a check up....we have her first appointment scheduled for April 28th.

I'm holding off for a bit on flea & tick medication....I'll talk with our new vet....discuss whether the medication will suppress Clancy's immune system.....she is still quite young.  Fleas & ticks are an issue here....

Mr. Seventies continues to recover.....will need to book a follow up appointment with his surgeon in the coming days.  We are taking walks daily.....building up his strength.  He is a bit more mobile....but not over-doing it.

That is about all the news from here!  Have an awesome weekend....thanks so much for hanging out with me!

Til next time.....

  1. Awwww, Spring! We’ve had mild temperatures the last couple of weeks after being in the upper 80’s toward the end of March. Glad Mr. Seventies is healing and doing well. RHill, TX

  2. Mother Nature takes her own sweet time! Clancy Mae is one lucky little pup to have you and hubby as her parents. You will be well prepared for her arrival. Happy weekend. Hugs, Elaine
