The store Inspired Living is jammed pack full of home goods & furniture....at their new location!  Lately they've been having "Warehouse" sales at their old location....on weekends.  I plan to visit that location hopefully next weekend.....it's usually crowded & hard to peruse items....but I'll make the attempt.....maybe if I drop in early afternoon to avoid the rush....

In the meantime....there is so much to see in their new store....like this deck sign...I almost purchased it....but the $34.99 sticker price was a bit much....what do you think?  It's a metal sign....and would look awesome on the pool deck wall....I'm still mulling it over.....

Now I don't get the obsession with these solar air balloons...but they cannot keep them in stock!  They don't appeal to me.....maybe I'm missing something....to each his own as my Mom used to say...

Have you ever tried potato soap?  Me either.....now I have enjoyed potato fudge (and it was delicious)....but Anne of Green Gables potato soap is new to me.....would make a great stocking stuffer tho....

I love dough bowls.....real ones & reproductions....I'd love to come across a larger one for the kitchen table....to fill with all kinds of goodies....what would you put in one?  Let me know your ideas in the comments....

I love that Inspired Living carries Canadian made furniture.....this lovely sectional would be beautiful in a small family room or condo....I am, however not a fan of the thin arms....

And.....see those wicker trunks to the right of the sectional?  *swoon*.  What a gorgeous coffee table they would make.....and extra storage....I'm obsessed with them....

Now no hate, ok?  Some think it's too early...but I'm not one of them & I was excited to turn the corner & see these....

Love, love, love these Canada geese!!  Since I was a little girl & used to feed them in my home town with my Dad....and then with my own children.....I've loved them....we have them here & we've had outings to feed them & the ducks with our little granddaughter....

And....speaking of things I love.....how adorable is this gorgeous red head?  Snoozing away after a great walk on the trail!  One evening, we met a veterinary student with her Newfoundland "pup" Norman.....who at nine months of age already weighed 90 pounds!!  Talk about a gentle giant....and Clancy Mae was very excited to meet him!!  I wish I'd been carrying my phone to get a photo or two....

She's a busy gal....and has brought us so much joy....everyone loves her & we get comments all the time on her gorgeous colour & personality....

We are attending a musical later in the month.....then going out for dinner afterwards.....the title of the musical is "Come From Away"......

The play centres around  the true story of 9/11.....when all planes were grounded & how a small airport in Newfoundland (Canada).....welcomed & helped out in anyway they could the many planes & passengers forced to land so quickly.....

The production does not run every day.....and to be able to get two seats together where it is showing( for Mr. Seventies & I) was a bit of a challenge....but I was able to secure a matinee performance....on a Saturday later in the month.....Clancy Mae will be spending that Saturday afternoon  & evening (while we enjoy an early evening meal afterwards) with daughter & family......

Also the term, "Come From Away" or CFA is the name here given to "non Islanders"...(those of us who were not born here).....so we are in fact - CFAs.   It's not a nasty term....just a bit of a running joke....you will never be a true "Islander" if you weren't born here.....no matter how long you live here!  I once typed an obituary (my first job here was working at the local newspaper)....and my duties included catching up  on the many obituaries that needed publishing!

This one obituary, was for a dear woman who moved here.....as an infant with her family...lived here all her life & passed away at the age of eighty-four.   And her obituary still read that she was "formerly of" wherever she had been born!  After 83+ years - she still was not a true Islander!  I had to chuckle....

We have a pane of glass in the family room window that needs replacing....just the glass not the window.  The "seal" between the glass has broken...causing the window to look dirty....all the time!  Was driving us crazy.....the glass company called & came out to measure for the replacement.   We should receive a price quote today...(not that it matters.....the glass needs replacing).....and were advised it usually takes a month after measuring for the repair.   We had new windows, doors & siding put on this Seventies Split in 1995!!

With our smaller windows....when this would happen.....Mr. Seventies would pop the window out & drop it off for new glass.....but that is not an option for this larger piece....we will be very happy to have it replaced....we detest dirty windows.....we give ours a thorough cleaning inside and out every spring & fall.....

Today promises to be a hot one...the next few days as well....great pool days!   Even Clancy Mae has been enjoying a few dips!!  (she does an pawsome dog paddle)....
